Day 59: Embracing God’s Call to Courage
In Joshua 1, God commissions Joshua as the new leader of His people, reminding him to "be strong and courageous." Even though Moses has passed on, God assures Joshua that He will be with him every step of the way. This call to courage isn’t just for ancient Israel—it’s a powerful reminder for us today. In Joshua 2, when the spies are sent to explore the Promised Land, we see that God can use even unexpected people—like Rahab—to bring about His plans.
As moms, every new season can feel like stepping into uncharted territory—whether it’s a change at home, a new challenge with your kids, or a shift in your personal goals. Like Joshua, you are called to lead with boldness and trust in God’s promise that He will be with you. Even when fear or uncertainty tries to take hold, remember that God’s strength equips you to move forward. Your journey as a mother is a leadership role, and every step of courage builds a legacy of faith for your family.
Reflection Questions:
🔹 In what new season or challenge do you need to step forward with courage this week?
🔹 How can you rely on God’s promise of His presence as you lead your family?
🔹 What practical steps can you take today to embrace boldness and trust, even when uncertainty lingers?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for calling me to be strong and courageous, just as You called Joshua. Help me to step boldly into every new season, trusting that You are with me every step of the way. When fear whispers in my ear, remind me of Your promise that You will never leave or forsake me. Empower me to lead my family with faith and conviction, and let Your presence be my constant source of strength. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
💛 Moms, take this call to heart—step forward in faith today, knowing that God’s courage is made perfect in your weakness.
