Be Accountable to God by Blessing Akinwale

“The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: But he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.”
– Proverbs 12:15 KJV
The next few days will have us focusing on the topic of Accountability, its importance to you and your enterprise if you truly desire growth in this journey.
Accountability simply means the willingness to acknowledge and accept responsibility, in this case for yourself and the enterprise.

It involves owning your actions (decisions, mistakes, failures) including the consequences, and focusing on correcting and learning from the whole experience.
As God’s child, if you must fulfill your calling in life, you need God and other people to help you stay on track. If you’re not accountable, your enterprise will not go in the right direction.

We are accountable for our words, our deeds, and even our very selves. Whether or not we make ourselves accountable in this life, we are ultimately accountable to God. One day we’ll stand before God himself and give an account. Our accountability to God in this ultimate sense forms the basis for our accountability to one another as human beings.

Being accountable reflects an aspect of the image of God that every human has stamped in our beings. Accountability isn’t merely about controlling behavior or enforcing consequences. It’s about pursuing a deeper relationship with God. Being accountable is a not only about seeking the things above but also giving life as well as letting the Holy Spirit take control

You need to be accountable to God, so you can remain within His plan for your enterprise. God has a plan for you, you need to walk with Him continually, so the works of your hands can become more fruitful.

Going forward, make up your mind to be accountable and experience unprecedented growth in your workplace.
